Indian Premier League 2021 Points Table: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) suffered a humiliating defeat against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 33rd match of IPL 2021. This is Hyderabad's seventh defeat out of the eight matches they played this season. With this defeat, they are almost out of the playoff race. Let's find out where all teams stand on the points table after this match. 

Delhi Capitals leads IPL 14 Points Table

Delhi Capitals once again secured the first position in the points table by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad last night. This is Delhi's seventh win in 9 matches. With this win, the team now has 14 points. Delhi is set to qualify in the play-offs. However, their fight would now be to stay at the top and pick up the trophy for this year.  

Chennai Super Kings slips to second position and RCB to third

After Delhi's victory, MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings has slipped to the second position in the points table. CSK have 12 points from eight matches. As a matter of fact, even the net run rate of CSK is even than Delhi Capitals. At the same time, Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore is now at number three with 10 points from eight matches.

Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals have the same number of points. Both have won four matches each out of eight. However, Mumbai is currently at number four and Rajasthan at number five. Kolkata Knight Riders are sixth with six points out of eight matches. Punjab Kings are seventh with six points in 9 matches and Sunrisers Hyderabad is at the bottom with two points in eight matches.
