Ranji Trophy legend Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter to pick his favorite side ahead of the mega clash. According to Jaffer, CSK will beat KKR to win the IPL 2021 Final for a record-extending fourth time.
New Delhi: Three-time champion Chennai Super Kings are all set to clash with Kolkata Knight Riders in the final match of IPL 2021. Chennai qualified to the summit clash by defeating Delhi Capitals in the first qualifier. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders-led Eoin Morgan defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in Eliminator and then Delhi in the second qualifier to reach the final. Both fans and experts are expecting a tough competition among the two teams and it is tough to predict which team will win the trophy.
Meanwhile, Ranji Trophy legend Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter to pick his favorite side ahead of the mega clash. According to Jaffer, CSK will beat KKR to win the IPL 2021 Final for a record-extending fourth time.
Jaffer took to Twitter to write,"Prediction: A World Cup winning captain and a Kiwi coach will lift the trophy tonight"
Jethalal is confused after reading my prediction 😄 But who do you think will win? #CSKvKKR #IPLFinal https://t.co/d24gsHP1Aw pic.twitter.com/rW8UQOAbnu

Jaffer is pointing towards CSK, as Dhoni is the World Cup winning captain and Chennai's head coach Stephen Fleming is a former New Zealand cricketer.
In the second phase of IPL 2021 in UAE, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings have locked horns twice before and both times Dhoni-led Yellow Army have managed to beat them. In the first leg, Chennai attained an 18-run win over Kolkata, while in the UAE phase, CSK won by two wickets.
Under Dhoni's captaincy, CSK will play an IPL final match for 9th time. Under Mahi's captaincy, Chennai has won the title thrice. Earlier in the year 2012, KKR and Chennai had clashed against each other in an IPL final, in which Kolkata won. Undoubtedly, CSK would definitely like to avenge that heart-breaking defeat.
