The 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been suspended indefinitely due to rise of Coronavirus cases inside IPL bio-bubble, but the Chennai Super Kings fans are still immersed in the memories of the T20 League.

Three-time IPL champions Chennai Superkings posted a video on its Twitter handle to take their fans down the memory lane. Sharing some memorable moments from IPL 14, the franchise promised a strong comeback.

“A re-ride of the #Summerof2021! Thirumbi Varuvom,” CSK captioned the video, and also promised fans that they would be back "to finish what they had started".

The players of Chennai Super Kings were in great form this season. All-roudner Ravindra Jadeja hammered five sixes against Royal Challengers Bangalore in an over and scored 131 runs at an average of 131.

Another senior player, Faf du Plessis showcased his class as he scored 320 runs at an average of 64. Veteran all-rounder Moeen Ali scored 206 runs at an average of over 34.

Ambati Rayudu, who was given the responsibility of playing the role of finisher, scored 136 runs at an average of 34. Rituraj Gaikwad scored 196 runs with the help of two fifties. Among bowlers, Sam Curran bagged nine wickets, Deepak Chahar picked eight wickets and Jadeja took 6 wickets.

Through their social media platforms and players, CSK has been spreading relevant information and awareness through the "Mask Podu" (Wear Mask) campaign and gave a message to people to be vigilant against the Covid-19 epidemic.
