ECB Offers To Host A Test Series Between India And Pakistan: Report
Pakistan is not very much keen in playing a Test series against India at a neutral venue as PCB have started hosting international cricket on their home soil after nearly a decade.
India vs Pakistan: The national cricket team's of India and Pakistan haven't clashed against each other in a Test match for past 15 years. This unwanted streak now has a chance to get over. As per an exclusive report in The Telegraph, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have offered the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct a Test series between one of the biggest rivals in cricket - India and Pakistan. As per the report, ECB suggested that if both countries agree, they can play Test series against each other in England as a neutral venue. India and Pakistan have not played a Test match against each other since 2007.
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) deputy chairman Martin Darlow reportedly discussed the proposal with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) during the ongoing T20I series between England and Pakistan. England toured Pakistan for the first time after 17 years. After the T20 World Cup, the England team will also play a three-match Test series in Pakistan.

That’s a great gesture by ECB thanks…but I would love to see both teams playing at their own home grounds with each others because people want to see good cricketing relations between both countries.

The reporter also suggests that Pakistan is not very much keen in playing a Test series against India at a neutral venue as PCB have started hosting international cricket on their home soil after nearly a decade.
Also, the series would require a major change in the political mood between the governments of the two countries.
Since the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks, India and Pakistan have only played each other in Asia Cup and major ICC tournaments. Pakistan toured India in 2012 for a short series that included two T20Is and three ODIs, but it did not include any Test matches.
