India vs New Zealand 2nd T20I: Dark clouds loom over the second match of the ongoing three-match T20 International series between India and New Zealand, slated to be played tomorrow i.e. on November 19 in Ranchi.
As per a report in news agency ANI, a petition has been filed in the Jharkhand High Court with a demand to postpone India vs New Zealand 2nd T20I match to be played in Ranchi on Friday or to allow the match to be played only with half the capacity of the stadium.

In his petition, Dheeraj Kumar said that when the temple and all the courts and many other offices in the state are working with 50 percent staff due to Coronavirus, then under what rule did the state government allow full occupancy for India-New Zealand 2nd T20I match inside the JSCA stadium.

New Zealand is currently touring India for a three-match T20 series and two-match Test series. The first match of the series was played on 17th November in Jaipur. India defeated New Zealand in this match by five wickets to kick-off the series with a fabulous win. New Zealand scored 164/6 in 20 overs after batting first. In reply, Team India chased down the target with just two balls to spare.
