IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI HIGHLIGHTS: Virat-Rohit Heroics Help India Beat Australia By 7 Wickets, Clinch Series 2-1

Background

The MA Chinnasawmy at Bengaluru will play host to the one day international series decider between India and Australia, with the the third and final encounter to be played at the venue on Sunday. The match is scheduled to commence at 1:30 pm with the toss to take place at 1 pm.

With the series levelled at 1 a piece, both the teams would leave no stone upturned and come out all guns blazing to win the series finale and lift the Paytm trophy.

While the visitors took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series thumping India by 10 wickets in the opening encounter at Wankhede in Mumbai, the hosts made a strong comeback to win the second ODI at Rajkot by 36 runs and take the series to the decider.

The MA Chinnasawmy  track at Bengaluru is known to produce loads of runs and batsmen on either sides will love to unleash their strokeplay. With quality batsmen among the runs on either side, the crowd is in for a complete run feast.

India would hope that both their openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are fit in time to play after sustaining injuries in the Rajkot ODI. Meanwhile wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant who was sidelined from the second game at Rajkot could also make a return to the playing eleven.

Meanwhile, Australia would look to add depth to their batting by playing either D Short or Peter Handscomb in place of Ashton Agar. The Kangaroos could also play Josh Hazlewood in place of Kane Richarson to bolster their pace attack.

India's only two losses at the venue in the last decade came at the hands of the Australians and a third straight loss to them would also mean losing two consecutive series at home to thier opponents.
