Team India Cricket Schedule 2023 news: The year 2022 has come to an end for the Indian cricket team and they are all in for an eventful year in 2023. The players of Indian cricket team are on an eight-day break post IND vs BAN series, after which they will return to the playing field. Team India's bilateral series against Sri Lanka will mark the beginning of 2023 for the Blues. Let's have a look at how busy the Indian team is going to be in the year 2023.

A white-ball series consisting of three ODIs and three T20 matches between India and Sri Lanka will be played from January 03 to January 15. Three days after India vs Sri Lanka series, same number of matches will be played between India and New Zealand, which will end on 01 February. After an eight-day break, a big series is to be played between India and Australia. Australia's tour of India will begin with a four-match Test series and then both teams will play a three-match ODI series from March 24.

Immediately after Australia tour ends, players will have to be ready for Indian Premier League (IPL). The schedule for IPL 2023 has not been finalized yet, but after the end of the first season of Women's IPL, the 16th season of IPL will most likely start in the first week of April. After being busy in IPL for about two and a half months, players will get a short break.

After IPL, Indian players will take part in the Asia Cup, set to be hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board. After the end of the Asia Cup in September, the Indian team also has to participate in the 2023 ODI World Cup. The ODI World Cup is to be organized in India from 10th October to 26th November.
