India vs New Zealand T20 Series: Soon after the 2021 T20 World Cup, New Zealand cricket team will tour India. The Kiwis Will play a three-match T20 series and a two-match Test series on India tour. The tour will start with the first T20 on November 17.

Chennai Super Kings' Rituraj Gaikwad, the highest run-scorer in IPL 2021 for the T20 series against New Zealand, Harshal Patel, the highest wicket-taker in IPL 2021, KKR's star opener Venkatesh Iyer and Delhi Capitals' fast bowler Avesh Khan were included in Team India's 16-member squad. However, Venkatesh Iyer is being discussed the most among these young players, because no one knew this player before the second half of IPL 2021.

Senior all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are not part of Team India for the T20 series against New Zealand. In such a situation, Venkatesh Iyer can play a new role for the team. It is being said that Iyer can play for India in the middle order.

Left-handed explosive batsman Venkatesh Iyer played as an opener in the second half of IPL 2021. During this, he scored 370 runs in 10 matches at an average of 41.11 and even bagged three wickets as well.
