New Delhi: The seventh edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup will commence from February 21 in Australia with defending champions Australia taking on India in a high voltage clash at the Sydney Showground Stadium, Sydney. The grand finale of the marquee event will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on International Women's Day
10 of the top teams in women's T20 cricket will battle it hard against each other to come out on top and annex one of most cherished piece of silverware on offer at the international T20 level. While defending champions and hosts Australia are favourites to win a record extending 5th title on home soil; England, New Zealand and India are being dubbed as the other strong title contenders.
The 10 teams are divided into two groups of five each with the top two from each qualifying for the knockouts.
