Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paved the way for the construction of the Ram Temple at Ayodhya by laying the foundation stone and performing Bhoomi Pujan at the Ram Janmbhoomi site at the historic city. Billions of Hindus in India and all over the world celebrated and the moment as it indeed was a path breaking landmark which not only brought sheer joy and ecstasy but also restored the age old faith of billions of Hindus in Lord Rama, who is one of the nine avatars of Lord Vishnu While several luminaries from their respective fields joined in the million across the nation by expressing their sentiment of joy and positivity on social media, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria also expresses his happiness over the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ram temple and called it a historic day for Hindus across the world. It is notable that the former Pakistani off spinner is only the second Hindu cricketer to have represented Pakistan in international cricket, said Lord Ram is his idol. "Today is the Historical Day for Hindus across the world. In what was termed as a ground-breaking ceremony at Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi performed the bhoomi poojan at the holy site amid mantras being chanted at the venue. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth and several other notable personalities from the political and religious space were present at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Ram Mandir. After performing pooja, PM Modi also released commemorative Postage Stamp on Ram temple.
