AC Milan Vs Atalanta: AC Milan have had a forgettable week as they lost 4-2 to Monza in Serie A away, and then travelled to France to take on Rennes in ther second leg fixture of UEFA Europa League 203/24 Round of 32. With a 3-0 lead, Milan only needed a miraculous result from Rennes to oust them and walked into the fixture pretty confident. However, Stefano Pioli's men had their hearts in the mouth when Rennes led 3-2 in the 68th minutes, with 22 minutes plus injury time to play.

Rennes constantly piled pressure and ended up taking 24 shots, out of which 8 were on taregt, as Milan survived a scare and qualified for the next round. They now turn their attention to domestic football as Atalanta have been a hoodoo s of late for the Mlan side as they have their last 2 meetings, both of which came in the months of December 2023 and January 2024, and the Rossonneri will be looking for a response.
