Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq claims that there was an argument between Younis Khan and Hasan Ali on the South Africa tour over the ice bath. Hasan Ali refused to take an ice bath after which the 43-year-old had a heated argument with the speedster.
The real reason behind Younis Khan's resignation has reportedly been revealed. Pakistani sports journalist Saj Sadiq revealed that Younis Khan's heated argument with a Pakistan cricketer Hasan Ali during the South Africa tour led to his resignation.
According to reports, the matter is related to the T20 match played in Centurion. Younis Khan went to the dressing room to talk to Hasan Ali after the match. But when he came out, he was in a bad mood and looked very unhappy. Even after that incident, Younis did not talk much to anyone for the rest of the tour and maintained distance from other players as well.
The Pakistani journalist claims that there was an argument between Younis Khan and Hasan Ali on the South Africa tour over the ice bath. Hasan Ali refused to take an ice bath after which the 43-year-old had a heated argument with the speedster.
However, neither PCB nor Younis Khan has clarified anything on this whole issue. It seems both have very clearly tried to suppress the matter.
According to Pakistani media, on June 22, a mutual agreement was reached between PCB and Younis Khan, in which dental treatment and his acrimonious relationship with the PCB's top officials were cited as the reason for Younis Khan's resignation as the batting coach of the Pakistan cricket team.
Younis Khan has been accused of leaking the team's line-up to his media friends in the past. He became the batting coach of the Pakistan cricket team in November last year. His contract was for 2 years, which was to end after the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.
