Pakistan vs England: Pakistan's star openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who have been under scanner for their slow strike rate, had a remarkable outing in England vs Pakistan 2nd T20 International on Thursday. Babar and Rizwan stitched a magnificent 203-run partnership to steer Pakistan to a 10-wicket win over hosts England, thus level the three-match T20 series 1-1. Babar and Rizwan returned unbeaten after scoring 110 and 88, respectively. Rizwan specially has been facing a lot of heat recently for his slow strike-rate in Asia Cup 2022, though he ended the tournament being the highest run-getter.
In 2nd T20I against England, Babar Azam played a 66-ball 110 knock with a strike rate of 166, while Rizwan played a 51-ball 88 knock with a brilliant strike rate of 172.
Following Pakistan's win in 2nd T20I vs England, their star pacer Shaheen Afridi posted a savage tweet to slam critics as he wrote, "I think it is time to get rid of Kaptaan @babarazam258 and @iMRizwanPak. Shaheen Afridi is not a part of the ongoing Pakistan vs England three-match T20 International series. He is currently going through rehab in England and is expected to be fit before the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia to join the team.
