Yuvraj Singh's first appearance in Mumbai Indians' jersey goes viral

Yuvraj’s first appearance in the Mumbai Indians jersey was shared by Mumbai Indians on their official twitter handle and immediately went viral. The tweet at the time of writing this copy had so far has got 1.5 thousand retweets and more than 8 thousand likes.

Mumbai Indians just can’t have enough of Yuvraj Singh. Ever since they bought Yuvraj for his base price of INR 1 crore after he went unsold in the initial stages of the IPL 2019 auction, the three-time IPL champions have been over the moon.

Team owner Akash Ambani revealed that they have been trying to buy Yuvraj Singh ‘for ages’ “The story goes back long, we’ve been trying to buy Yuvraj for ages and it feels great to steal him for just 1 crore. He has had a fantastic career for Indian and in the IPL. Hopefully, he will bring in that experience in Mumbai Indians,” Ambani said.

Then Sachin Tendulkar and captain Rohit Sharma joined in to welcome Yuvraj in their ranks.

Mumbai will be Yuvraj’s sixth IPL team. He last represented Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018. Yuvraj too expressed his happiness at becoming a part of Mumbai Indians.
