'Would Have Been Smashed By Kohli': Netizens On Afghan Pacer Naveen-ul-Haq's Post After Asia Cup Snub

Fans are now disappointed after seeing Naveen’s snub from Afghanistan’s squad as they will be missing out on the chance to witness the rivalry between Naveen and Virat Kohli.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board came up with their 17-man squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. In what came as a huge shock was star pacer Naveen-ul-Haq's exclusion from the squad. After being ignored from the Asia Cup squad,  Naveen took to social media and shared a cryptic post. The talented pacer posted his selfie with the caption "No matter how well your eyes adjust to darkness, you'll never mistake it for light."

Earlier, Naveen and Virat were involved in a war of words during the IPL 2023 game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.  It was so serious that former Indian cricketer and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir got involved. 

After the duo got involved in a heated exchange, videos and pictures of the same went viral on social media hence fans were expecting to see both players in action once more in the Asia Cup.  Fans on social media went berserk after seeing Naveen-ul-Haq’s Asia Cup exclusion. Here are the reactions:

Notably, the Asia Cup will start on August 30 and will be co-hosted by Pakistan, and Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will begin their Asia Cup campaign against Bangladesh on September 3.
