West Indies vs Australia: Jake Fraser-McGurk and Alzarri Joseph carried their duel from the second ODI into the third ODI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
West Indies vs Australia: While Alzarri Joseph perhaps decided to break the rhythm of Australia batter Jake Fraser-McGurk after West Indies bundled out for only 86 in the first innings and seemingly aimed an angry phrases of words at the batter, the same did not benefit the fielding team at all as the batter responded with three sixes in an over next up.
Notably, Jake Fraser-McGurk received his maiden international cap in the second ODI of the series where he had an eventful beginning of his ODI career. While he played and missed the first two balls, then smashed a four and a six before getting out in the same over. The bowler was no one else but Alzarri Joseph. In the third ODI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, the rivalry continued between the two after West Indies were bowled out for 86 with no batter managing a score in excess of 12.
In the third over of Australia's run chase, Joseph and Fraser-McGurk had a go at each other and while the batter first scored back-to-back boundaries, the pacer delivered a fiery bouncer that beat the batter. Post the delivery, Joseph went and uttered a few words perhaps to break the batters' rhythm. The same seemed to have pumped up Fraser-McGurk who went on to smash three sixes in the very next over.
