West Indies Vs South Africa T20I Series: West Indies defeated South Africa by 8 wickets in the 3rd and final T20I to seal the T20I series 3-0. In the process, the Caribbeans have sealed their first ever T20I series clean sweep over the Proteas and are looking well set for the upcomimg T20 World Cup 2024 at home. The Brandon King-led side decimated Rassie Van Der Dussen's side left, right, and centre, as the visitors looked completely clueless.

Here's What Players Said In The Post-Match Presentation Ceremony

"It was great to bat. We worked hard in the camp. We worked hard on our skills. It was all about implementing and we did it today. Hopefully we will continue that in world cup. I just worked on my basics. Then again it was about implementing. Hopefully it will be replicated. I failed to score in the two games but felt good. It is good to win a series with a lot of regular members not present. I hope when they arrives in the squad, we will do better as a team," said Johnson Charles, who was awarded Player of the Match award for his blistering 69 off 26.

"It is thoroughly disappointing. I think we need to adapt more to the Caribbean conditions. Ya, not happy with the results. You have to talk and deliver in the middle. Players are coming and getting added to the squad. You can't keep learning always, sometimes you need to deliver. There's no room for excuse. They were just better than us in both batting and bowling. I think the majority of our squad are playing together for the last three-four years and it will be good when they come back. Nqaba Peter did well in this series too," said Rassie van der Dussen, South Africa Captain.

"I'm very pleased. I've been working really hard on various things, especially my variations, and I'm happy with my performance. Most surfaces in the World Cup will be the same," said Gudakesh Motie, who was awarded Player of the Series award for his impeccable bowling.

"I'm happy with my performance, though I wish I could've carried my bat to the end. We've been playing together for a few years now and understand each other's games well. This 3-0 win is crucial, especially as the last series before the World Cup. It's great preparation and gives us good momentum. Our bowling was very consistent, with impressive contributions from Motie and others," said Brandon King, West Indies Captain.
