WATCH | IPL 2020: 'No Touching Anyone' - Ashwin's Daughter Gives Tips For Safe Flight To Her Father

Delhi Capitals, on its official twitter handle posted a collage in which all DC players can be seen taking blessing from their families ahead of their departure to UAE.

Indian cricket team's out-of-favor off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will soon be leaving for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), slated to take place from September 19. The veteran spinner, who had been confined to his house due to Coronavirus induced lockdown, will soon get the opportunity to take go out to train with his teammates as he left for Mumbai to assemble with rest of his Delhi Capitals teammates.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Ashiwn took to social media to share a video in which his daughter can be seen giving her father Ashwin some safety tips for a safe flight.

"Our girls giving @ashwinravi99 tips to stay safe during his flight It's going to be super hard without him I mean who is going to sit for two sets of online classes now," Ashwin's wife Prithi wrote while posting the video on Twitter.

Team India's star batsman KL Rahul replaced Ashwin as Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) skipper in late November last year after the spinner decided to leave the franchise and was traded to Delhi Capitals.

BCCI have allowed teams to fly to UAE after August 19 amid the stringent social distancing norms enforced. Not only that, the players along with support staff will be quarantined for seven days upon landing their destination.
