A few days back, the Indian cricket team received a huge blow after another star speedster, Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out for the series. As a result, uncapped Deepak Chahar got the maiden T20I call-up as Bumrah’s replacement.
However, situations are more favourable for Umesh Yadav who has been carrying an excellent form since the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League. Coming back in the Indian squad for the shortest format after almost 6 years, Umesh could join Bhuvneshwar in the pace department along with Hardik Pandya.
Apart from the bowling department, the Indian players went through an intense session where Shikhar Dhawan was spotted showing some remarkable athletic skills.
