A few hours to go for the first T20I between India and England at the Old Trafford cricket stadium on Tuesday. A confident Indian side will take the field against a ferocious English team which has recently defeated Australia brutally.

Before the men-in-blue turn up with all their guns ablaze, the Indian spearheads were spotted sweating out hard during the practice sessions. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the face of the Indian pace-attack, and Umesh Yadav tried out some deliveries at the center pitch.

This intense bowling practice was captured on camera was shared on the official Twitter handle of the BCCI.

Here’s the video:

A few days back, the Indian cricket team received a huge blow after another star speedster, Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out for the series. As a result, uncapped Deepak Chahar got the maiden T20I call-up as Bumrah’s replacement.

However, situations are more favourable for Umesh Yadav who has been carrying an excellent form since the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League. Coming back in the Indian squad for the shortest format after almost 6 years, Umesh could join Bhuvneshwar in the pace department along with Hardik Pandya.

Apart from the bowling department, the Indian players went through an intense session where Shikhar Dhawan was spotted showing some remarkable athletic skills.

Here’s the Indian squad for T20Is against England:

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli(c), MS Dhoni(w), Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Suresh Raina, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, Siddarth Kaul, Deepak Chahar
