Virat Kohli was involved in a heated exchange with the Australian media over a privacy misunderstanding amidst his struggles with bat in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25.
India's star cricketer Virat Kohli is renowned for never shying away from on-field confrontations, particularly against Australia. However, this time, Kohli found himself in a heated exchange with the Australian media upon arriving in Melbourne for the much-anticipated Boxing Day Test, the fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25. As reported by Australia’s 7NEWS, Kohli was spotted confronting a female TV reporter at Melbourne Airport, seemingly upset about cameras being directed toward his family.
Australian broadcaster Channel 7 captured the moment when Kohli confronted a journalist at the airport, voicing his displeasure about being filmed, especially while accompanied by his family. Kohli noticed cameras and expressed his frustration stating, "With my kids, I need some privacy. You can't film without asking me."

After 100 In Perth, Kohli Continues To Struggle In BGT
Interestingly, this off-field exchange involving Virat Kohli comes amid his inconsistent performance in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Aside from a century in Perth, the star batter has struggled to make an impact, scoring only 26 runs across his other four innings and frequently falling to deliveries outside the off-stump, something that has been a well-documented weakness of his.
