Video Showing KL Rahul Getting Mobbed By Fans At Sree Siddaganga Math In Tumakuru Goes Viral
IND vs ENG: KL Rahul, who is likely to rejoin the India squad ahead for the fourth Test, was spotted at the Sree Siddaganga Math In Tumakuru.
Cricket enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the return of Indian cricketer KL Rahul to the national squad for the upcoming fourth Test against England in Ranchi. Amidst this anticipation, Rahul was spotted making a visit to the Sree Siddaganga Math in Tumkur, Karnataka. Notably, Rahul had to miss out on the second and third Tests due to discomfort in his right quadriceps. In his absence, Devdutt Padikkal took on the responsibility, replacing him in the third Test.
The 31-year-old cricketer, accompanied by his parents, visited the temple to partake in darshan and religious rituals. As Rahul made his way to his car, fans at the temple recognised him with several of the enthusiastic admirers of the cricket stars surrounded him, almost mobbing him at the ashram premises.

India Lead 5-Match Test Series Against England 2-1
Meanwhile, as far as the ongoing Test series against England is concerned, India find themselevs leading the series 2-1. While they had succumbed to a defeat in the series opener in Hyderabad, they went on to win the next two Tests in Visakhapatnam and Rajkot and now find themselves in the front, leading the series 3-1. The hosts registered a comfortable victory in the third Test winning the match by a record margin of 434 runs. Rahul was part of the Playing 11 in only the first Test after which was ruled out of the second Test after he complained of quadricepts pain.
The Karnataka cricketer was initially expected to be fit in time for the third Test but could not regain fitness in time for the Rajkot Test. That coupled with Shreyas Iyer reportedly being dropped from the side meant an opportunity to make his Test debut for Sarfaraz Khan who scored a fifty in each of his two innings. His Mumbai teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double hundred while Ravindra Jadeja slammed a hundred in the first innings and secured a fifer in the second as India recorded a comfortable win. Rahul is now likely to rejoin India squad ahead of the fourth Test.
