Bihar Election: Yogi Adityanath Slams Opposition In Darbhanga, Labels INDIA Bloc “Pappu, Tappu, Appu”

In a fiery campaign speech in Darbhanga, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a broadside at the opposition, accusing the INDIA bloc of failing to acknowledge the government’s development record and branding its leaders as a trio he nicknamed “Pappu, Tappu and Appu.” Without naming specific leaders, Yogi invoked the imagery of Gandhi’s “three monkeys” to argue that the opposition “cannot see, hear or speak the truth,” and accused them of running a campaign of misinformation.Addressing a large rally, he reiterated his trademark slogan “Batenge To Katenge” and framed the poll contest as a choice between the NDA’s promise of development and the opposition’s alleged record of lawlessness and appeasement. Yogi urged voters to back NDA candidates to ensure economic growth, cultural pride and security, and linked the prospect of a renewed NDA government with the realization of a prosperous “Ram Rajya” for Bihar. The speech is likely to sharpen campaign rhetoric in the final days before polling, underscoring identity and governance as central themes in the state’s election battle. Political analysts say such combative messaging aims to consolidate the BJP’s base while drawing stark contrasts with rival formations.
