'Tonight's Game Is Important For Both Teams' To Stay In The Race: Afghanistan Board's CEO
T20 World Cup: New Zealand, Afghanistan, and India are all in the fray for qualification. Thus, the ACB's CEO believes that tonight's game is going to be very crucial for both teams.
T20 World Cup: India plays Afghanistan on Wednesday in a Group stage match of the T20 WC. It is going to be a virtual quarter-final for India. It is a must-win game for both countries. Afghanistan Cricket Board's CEO agrees with this claim.
"Tonight's game between Afghanistan and India is quite important for both the teams as they both need two more points to keep their race to the knockouts up," Naseeb Khan, Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO told ANI.

"For India, it's very crucial as it's a must-win one for them while for us too, a win will take us closer to the top two of group. Furthermore, considering the good ties between ACB & BCCI, I will be looking for a good game between thee two sides," he added.
The Group looks very interesting at this point. With Pakistan already qualifying for the semis, there is just room for one more team to qualify. New Zealand, Afghanistan and India are all in the fray for qualification.
Thus, the ACB's CEO believes that tonight's game is going to be very crucial for both teams.
When asked about the situation with respect to the Taliban takeover, he said, "Yes, the political situation is yet to be redeemed in the country, but the ACB operations are going on normally and there isn't anything to be worried for. But still, we seek help & assistance from BCCI same as before."
