Earlier, India’s opener Shikhar Dhawan met Pant at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He also posted a picture from their reunion. Dhawan and Pant share a very good bond since the duo were a part of the same IPL team, Delhi Capitals.
Pant has not played for India ever since he met with a near-fatal car crash in December last year. He was also ruled out from the IPL 2023 and as a result, David Warner was asked to take the captaincy role. Delhi Capitals had a rough outing in the recently passed IPL 2023 as they started the season with five consecutive losses in their first 5 games and became the first team who got knocked out in the league stage. However, Rishabh’s recovery is panning out nicely he is still likely to miss Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 in India as well.
Earlier, the young keeper/batter also arrived at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to support Delhi Capitals in the game against Gujarat Titans. Pictures of the same went viral where he was spotted standing in the stands, roaring for his team.
