India's Probable Playing 11 vs Bangladesh: India beat Bangladesh in the 1st Test of the two-match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai with ease. The Men in Blue are already in Kanpur gearing up for the second Test which is where the second Test match will begin on September 27. India have not lost a home Test series since 2012 and are expected to do well even in the Kanpur Test at a venue where Test cricket returns for the first time since 2021 and against an opposition they have never lost to in the longest format of the game.

However, the wicket at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur will be a lot different from the one in Chennai. With a slow and low surface expected on the black-soil Kanpur, the hosts might have to make changes to their Playing 11. The hosts could be tempted to bring in a spinner in place a seam bowler. Having said that, India have two spinners warming the benches with both Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav waiting for their chance in the side.

Having said that with Ravindra Jadeja, left arm orthodox, being a bowler similar to that of Axar Patel, the management may tempt to play Kuldeep which will add more vareity to their bowling attack. Kuldeep's last Test was the fixture against England at Dharamshala in March 2024. In that case, either Akash Deep or Mohammed Siraj might have to sit out.
