While Kohli does his best to be available for his fans, there is only as far as he can go. The former India batter had to decline a handshake request after the grand reception that he got at the team hotel in Kanpur ahead of the second Test match against Bangladesh beginning on September 27 (Friday).

However, Kohli did make sure that he expresses his gratiude and said a "Thank you". The video of Kohli being forced to decline a handshake request has quickly gone viral on social media.

Will Virat Kohli's Poor Form In Home Tests End In Kanpur?

As far as Kohli's form in home Test matches is concerned, it hasn't been exemplary. Even in the Chennai Test, Kohli registered scores of 6 and 17 in the first and the second innings respectively. As far as his record at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur is concerned, in the solitary Test match that he has played at this venue in 2021, Kohli scored 27 runs across the two innings.
