Batting Coach Vikram Rathour Leads The Race To Become Team India's Next Coach

Team India New Cricket Coach: Team India is going to get a new coach soon. Rahul Dravid has also withdrawn from becoming the coach of Team India after Ravi Shastri.

Team India New Cricket Coach: The question about the next coach of Team India is getting intense. The tenure of the current coach Ravi Shastri is will end after the T20 World Cup this year. Former cricketer Rahul Dravid's chances of becoming the coach are negligible as he has applied to become National Cricket Academy (NCA) director again. In such a situation, batting coach Vikram Rathore has emerged as the front runner for the post of Coach of Team India.

Team India coach Ravi Shastri's tenure is up to the October-November T20 World Cup. Ravi Shastri has hinted that he does not want to coach Team India again. Rahul Dravid was being seen as the ideal replacement for Ravi Shastri. But now his chances are negligible.

Former Team India captain Rahul Dravid is currently the director of the National Cricket Academy. Dravid's first term as director of the National Cricket Academy is set to end soon. The BCCI had therefore released the application forms for the post of the new director. Rahul Dravid has applied to become the NCA director again.

Vikram Rathour leads the race 

This shows that Rahul Dravid wants to remain an NCA director for the time being. However, current batting coach Vikram Rathour could benefit the most from Rahul Dravid's exit. Vikram Rathore is considered close to Ravi Shastri and also shares a good relationship with captain Virat Kohli.

Vikram Rathour has been associated with Team India for the past few years. Vikram Rathour's relationship with the team is good and if he becomes the next coach of Team India, there will be great coordination. The BCCI, however, has not said anything about Team India's next coach so far.
