England Skipper Delighted After England's All-Round Brilliance Against West Indies

England skipper Jos Buttler was delighted after his side's victory against West Indies and said the following during the post-match presentation ceremony:

"That was a really good performance from us. We planned really well, we've been practicing well and we executed both with the bat and ball really really well and we deserved the win. We bowled really well to restrict such a powerful batting lineup, such good six hitters especially. We did a really good job at that. Still a decent score, we had to play well to get that but we were very smart with the bat."

"The guys were very calculative when they took their options on. Bairstow and Salt partnership was so good. Jonny came in with good intent and put the momentum straight back. When Salt got the big over, it certainly broke the back of it. That's why I brought Jofra back there (in the 16th over) with Pooran and Andre Russell coming in, 2 of the best players in the world so we wanted to use Jofra there to get a wicket or restrict them. Sometimes you have to bring your best bowler back and shut them earlier."

"Rashid has been excellent all the time. An important player for a long time. He has so much variations. Jonny batted at number 4 today. He is a class player. He's been for a really long time and we have decided to back class players. Today was an impressive innings, a really mature player's innings."

"It was a really good performance. People say you learn when you lose but I truly believe you learn when you win as well. We will reflect on what we did well to win today and then put it to bed and move on to the next one."
