T20 World Cup 2021: 'Virat Kohli Would Play As All-rounder In T20 World Cup!', Says Akash Chopra

T20 WC 2021: Virat Kohli surprised everyone by his outstanding bowling in the warm-up match against Australia. He bowled two spectacular overs in this match.

Virat Kohli News: 2021 T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin on October 23 and 12 great teams would be contesting against each other for the title. Team India would be playing its first match in the tournament against Pakistan on October 24. Team India has already played two warm-up matches before its showdown with Pakistan and won both of them.

Team India played a warm-up match against Australia last Wednesday, where Captain Virat Kohli made headlines owing to his spectacular bowling skills. Former cricketer Akash Chopra made a big statement on his performance. 

This is what Akash Chopra said:

Akash Chopra has claimed that Indian captain Virat Kohli would act as an all-rounder player for India during the ICC T20 World Cup. Talking about the warm-up match between India and Australia on his YouTube channel, Akash Chopra said Kohli would be India's all-rounder during the tournament and would be India's sixth bowling option. 

The former cricketer also praised Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya for their great batsmanship during the warm-up match. He said that the performance of these three batsmen would prove beneficial for India. Rohit Sharma scored 60 runs in the warm-up match and seemed to be in great form during the match. Apart from him, KL Rahul also impressed everyone by performing well in both the warm-up matches. 

Virat bowled 2 overs against Australia:
Virat Kohli bowled 2 overs during the warm-up match against Australia and gave only 12 runs in his spell. Watching Kohli bowl was surprising for fans as he had not bowled for a long time. Kohli could be seen as a key bowler during this tournament.
