Sachin Tendulkar And Wife Visit Taj Mahal After Valentine's Day

Sachin Tendulkar visits Taj Mahal with wife after Valentine's Day. Here are the details.

Former Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar visited the iconic Taj Mahal of Agra on Thursday, February 15, alongside wife, Anjali Tendulkar. The former Mumbai Indians player posted pictures of his visit to the monument on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Sachin Tendulkar had retired from international cricket in 2013, but has remained associated with the sport as 'The God of Cricket' has done his bits with mentorship, commentary and so on. Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most respected and loved cricketers of all time and each fan craves to meet the legend. Similar was the case in Agra as well, as Sachin's fans surrounded him and security personnel did their bit to ensure safe passage for the two (Sachin and Anjali).

This isn't Sachin Tendulkar's sole visit in the Uttar Pradesh, as the icon visited Ayodhya on Janauary 22 for the consecration of the Ram Mandir. The 50-year old has also been awarded Bharat Ratna during his career and stands as one of the greatest examples of how to be a cricketer, both on and off the pitch.

The 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) winner has been associated with Mumbai Indians, ever since the inception of the richest cricket league back in 2008. He currently serves the five-time champions as their mentor and even though there were rumours of his separation with the frnachise, Sachin cleared the air off the rumours and ensured 'MI Paltan' (fans of Mumbai Indians) that he will stay as the mentor of the side.

In his short IPL career, the Mumbai-based batsman has scored 2334 runs in 78 innings, and even has a century to his name, alongside averaging 33.83, with a strike rate of 119.82, and has even been the Orange Cap holder in IPL 2010.
