Rohit Sharma's 'Garden Mein...' Post Breaks The Internet After India Hammer England 4-1
Rohit Sharma's caption of his picture with the Indian youngsters who starred in India's 4-1 win over England has broken the internet.
While India were 0-1 down in the five-match Test series against England at home after losing the opener in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma & Co. despite injury and form concerns made a remarkable turnaround to beat England 4-1. The series witnessed as many as five players receiving their Test caps but yet the side went on to outplay the Three Lions. There was clearly a sense of camaraderie between the players and captain Rohit with several videos of the senior batter and his toungue-in-cheek humour with the youngstrers going viral on social media.
After the win, the 36-year-old went on to share a post featuring Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal on his social media. More than the picture itself it was the caption that made the post an instant hit on social media. "Garden mein ghoomne wale bande," Rohit captioned his post. Several members of the Indian cricket fraternity- the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Suryakumar Yadav left a comment on the post. While Yuvi left a laughing emoji as a comment, Suryakumar wrote: "Gill and Jaiswal definitely".

Rohit Sharma Finishes With 400 Runs In IND vs ENG Test Series
Other than his exemplary leadership skills which saw him lead a side without Virat Kohli (entire series), KL Rahul (barring first Test), Ravindra Jadeja (in a Test match) to victory against an opponent which were considered a team which could give India run for its money by several experts especially after the manner in which they came back from behind to defeat India, Rohit came good with the bat as well and ended with 400 runs in the series.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, however, was the stand out performer with the bat for India as he finishes with 712 runs in the series and was adjudged the Player of the Series. Shubman Gill also scored 452 runs in the series as India consolidated its position at the top of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) points table.
