Ranji Trophy 2023-24: Kedar Jadhav, who went unsold in the IPL 2024 Auction, has scored a magnificent century as he notched up 182 runs off 216 balls against Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy 2023-24. Kedar's Important Knock Amongst Maharashtra's Impressive Performace In Draw Against Jharkhand - Match Report

Kedar Jadhav wasn't the only centurion for the Maharashtra side as Pavan Shah and Ankit Bawne too pulled off impressive knocks to put Maharashtra in an untroubled position as they reached 601/5 before the declaration of their first innings.

Pavan Shah scored 136 off 225 balls and Ankit Bawne scored 131 off 213 balls. However, these weren't the only impressive knocks alongside Kedar Jadhav's 182 for the Maharashtra side as Naushad Shaikh played a vital role for the side as well. He notched up 73 off 108 balls.

The Group A fixture between the sides was a vital one as Maharashtra was coming into the fixture with a victory over Manipur, whereas Jharkhand was coming into the fixture with a draw against Saurashtra.

Electing to bowl first, the decision seemed to be an interesting one because of the batting friendly nature of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. However, they did manage to restrict Jharkhand for 403 after Hitesh Valunj managed to take a six-wicket haul.

In return, Maharashtra scored 601, takinng a lead of 198 runs, and the Jharkhand managed to score 167/2 in their second innings at the end of the last day as match was officially drawn. 

Maharashtra sit second in Group A with 10 points and Jharkhand sit at seventh with 2 points, both of them after 2 matches.
