WATCH the young New Zealand fan, who's named after Sachin Tendulkar, meet the legend himself, as THIS old clip resurfaces on internet.

Sachin Tendulkar does not have fans, but devotees. A word that has been constantly spread across thousands of people over the years, as cricket fans deem the Indian legend a 'god' of the sport.
Sachin Tendulkar's statistics are unmatched, but what also makes him 'once in a lifetime sportsperson' is his majestic aura that inspires generations.
One such case came to limelight back in 2009, when India toured New Zealand for ODI series. The five-match ODI series was played in the month of March, and after the conclusion of the match, a young New Zealand fan named 'Sachin Austin' alongside his father had the opportunity to meet their idol Sachin Tendulkar near the boundary ropes.
During a special media coverage at the area, the young fan revealed his name, and stated the reason behind his unique name, as fans learnt the fact that his father is a lifelong Sachin Tendulkar fan and has named his son after the legendary cricketer.
Surprisingly, as seen in the video, the young fan could not recognise that Sachin Tendulkar was standing right next to him. The Indian batsman greeted him and his father with a smile and shared a memorable moment, which the young fan and his family will surely cherish for a lifetime.
