MS Dhoni's Epic Reply To Tamil Actor Yogi Babu's Request To Join CSK Will Leave You Amused

Former India captain MS Dhoni alongside his wife Sakshi are currently in Chennai for the audio and trailer launch of their production's first film- LGM. Post his outstanding time on the field, Dhoni is not plying his trade in the entertainment sector. The former India skipper has a huge fan base worldwide, but his major fan following lies in Chennai as he leads the Chennai-based franchise in Indian Premiere League.
Meanwhile, during the trailer launch event, renowned actor Yogi Babu, who is playing a crucial role in 'Let's Get Married (LGM)', went on to request Dhoni to take him in as a player in CSK. Dhoni then came up with a hilarious reply.
"Rayudu [Ambati] is retired. So, we do have a place for you in CSK. I'll speak to the management. But, you are so busy in films. I'll tell you, you have to play consistently. They bowl very fast and they bowl to injure you only," Dhoni said at the event.
The trailer launch event took place on Monday at the Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai. Dhoni has launched a production house called- Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd and 'LGM' will be their first movie. Earlier, the five-time Indian Premier League title winner Mahendra Singh Dhoni received a grand welcome from fans who were gathered outside the gate of Chennai airport to welcome 'Thala' at his second home.
Earlier, in the recently passed IPL 2023, MS Dhoni-led CSK to their record-equalling fifth Indian Premier League trophy after defeating Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. It was expected that Dhoni would declare his retirement from IPL after this season. However, the legendary wicketkeeper gave a clue that if his body allows, he might return to play IPL 2024.
"Circumstantially, this is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love I have received all over, the easy thing would be to walk away from here, but the harder thing would be to work hard for nine months and try to play another IPL. It would be a gift from me, won't be easy on the body," Dhoni had said in the post-match interview after winning the last IPL final.
