Man Detained For Breaching Security And Hugging Virat Kohli During IND vs AFG T20I
IND vs AFG 2nd T20I: A man was detained for breaching security and hugging Virat Kohli during India's second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore.
Indore: While India won the second T20I of the three-match series against Afghanistan by 6 wickets to take clinch the series with a match to go, a security breach was witnessed in the fixture played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. It is being learnt that a young man has been detained after he defied the security arrangements and managed to reach cricketer Virat Kohli. The culprit hugged the star India cricketer during the first innings of the match.
A report carried by news agency PTI has confirmed that the man has been detained by the police. The man was taken to the Tukoganj police station. It is being reported that the youth had a ticket for the fixture and had entered the stadium from the Narendra Hirwani Gate. A police official told the news agency that the person in question identified himself as a big Kohli fan and entered the ground by climbing the fence of the spectators gallery, wanting to meet the batter. The officer said that the youth was being interrogated. Further steps will be taken after thorough investigation of the matter.

IND vs AFG 2nd T20I- What Happned In The Match?
As far as the second T20I is concerned, India won the toss and elected to field first. Axar Patel's brilliant spell of bowling (2/17) meant Afghanistan could not take the match away from India at a venue famous for big scores. They managed 172. In the run chase, even though Rohit Sharma fell in the first over, half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube meant India reached to their target with 26 balls to spare.
The T20I series between India and Afghanistan will now head to Bengaluru for the third and final fixture of the series which will also be the team's final T20I before match before the T20 World Cup in June.
