Liam Livingstone notched up his maiden ODI century to help England defeat West Indies by 5 wickets in the second match of the ongoing ODI series as England levelled the series 1-1 on Saturday.

After facing a heavy defeat in the first ODI of the three-match series, the England captain rose to the occasion and racked up an unbeaten 124 runs off 85 balls in the 2nd WI vs ENG ODI at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on November 3 (Saturday).
Livingstone's explosive innings overshadowed an earlier century by opposition captain Shai Hope.
Coming to the WI vs ENG 2nd ODI, Livingstone won the toss and put the hosts in to bat first. Despite losing their openers within the first four overs, a crucial 143-run partnership between Keacy Carty and captain Shai Hope helped steady the innings as Hope brought up his 17th ODI hundred by scoring 117 runs.

Sherfane Rutherford maintained his impressive form with his fourth consecutive fifty-plus score, preventing England from staging a late comeback. His quickfire 54 off 36 balls featured four boundaries and three sixes.
Shimron Hetmyer and Matthew Forde provided a late boost with an 11-ball 24 and 11-ball 23 runs knocks respectively, helping West Indies reach 328 in their 50 overs.
In response, England, needing a strong start after being bowled out for 209 in the first match, saw Phil Salt set the pace with a run-a-ball 59 before Liam Livingstone took charge and sealed the game.
Livingstone received strong support from Jacob Bethell and Sam Curran, who both scored half-centuries, helping England chase down the target with 15 balls remaining, helping England level the series 1-1.
