Former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard, who retired from international cricket nearly two and a half years ago and now focuses on coaching, has not lost his powerful hitting touch.
In a recent match in England's 'The Hundred,' Pollard demonstrated his strength by hitting Afghanistan's Rashid Khan for five consecutive sixes during the game between the Trent Rockets and Southern Brave at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.

In 'The Hundred,' there are no overs; each innings consists of 100 balls with bowlers delivering in sets, which can be 5 or 10 consecutive balls.
The event unfolded when Southern Brave needed a challenging 49 runs off 20 balls to chase down 127 in 100 balls. Rashid Khan had impressive figures of 1/10 from 15 deliveries, but Pollard's performance disrupted his outstanding spell. The assault from Pollard reduced the runs required to 19 off 15 balls.
The veteran struck the 81st ball for a six over mid-wicket, followed by another six over the long-off boundary. He then hit the next two balls for sixes at long-off and mid-wicket, and finished the set with a six on the 85th ball.
Thanks to Pollard's explosive innings, Southern Brave clinched a two-wicket victory over Trent Rockets with just one ball remaining.
