James Anderson Shows His Favourite Dance Move To Kids During Burnley Primary School Visit Before Ashes 2023- WATCH

James Anderson took time out to pay a visit to his primary school in Burnley.

Veteran England fast bowler James Anderson did not play in England's one off Test match against Ireland. However, as captain Ben Stokes made it clear that he would be fit in time for Ashes 2023. The England speedster has been enjoying his time away from the game and took time out to pay a visit to his primary school in Burnley before the first Test of the series against Australia. The 40-year-old was seen having a great time with kids during this special visit.

In a hilarious bit of video shared by BBC Sport on Twitter, Anderson was asked by a kid to show his favourite dance move and the pacer couldn't say no and danced to fulfill his wish. He even responded to a question posed by a youg fan who asked: "Why do you like playing cricket?"

In a recent interview, Anderson's teammate and fellow pacer Stuart Broad had heaped praises on him and revealed what keeps him going.

"Jimmy’s incredibly competitive. That’s his No.1 strength," Broad said on the Legends of the Ashes podcast.

"He’s probably the most competitive person I’ve seen, barring Jos Buttler, in any sport that he plays. But he’s very driven. He’s an addict to cricket. He’s an addict to training, an addict to getting better, improving all the time," he added.

"That’s showing now. He’s 40 and he’s probably bowling better now than he was four years ago. It’s an incredible testament to himself and the game," he further said.

Broad and Anderson form one of the most destructive England pace-bowling in the history of the game and have a total of 1,017 wickets in 134 Test matches together. The Three Lions would hope that they continue their good form against Australia this summer.
