Did Samantha Ruth Prabhu Help Adarsh Gourav’s Telugu Debut? Actor Says, ‘Her Manager Made Me Meet…’
Adarsh Gourav revealed that actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu played a pivotal role in connecting him with this opportunity.

New Delhi: Baba Shashank's next psychological thriller will mark Bollywood actor Adarsh Gourav's Telugu cinema debut. In a recent interview, Gourav thanked actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu for helping him get this chance and said that she was instrumental in making the connection.
Adarsh discussed his Telugu film debut in an interview with Hindustan Times, where he discussed how a chance meeting with Samantha at the Citadel's after-party led to his role in the film. 'The White Tiger' actor said, "Actually, I should thank Samantha for this, because I was at Citadel’s after-party, and I was telling her that I wanted to start working in Telugu films. She said, ‘Why don't you go and take some meetings there and I'll help you to take those meetings and see through’."
He added, "Her business partner and her manager made me meet a lot of people and then I met the producer and director of this film. That's how I ended up getting the part; it was a stroke of luck.”
Adarsh described his next movie as having a "multi-genre script" that combines aspects of dark humour, horror and psychological thriller.
What’s Next for Adarsh Gourav?
In addition to his Telugu debut, Adarsh's most recent film appearance was in ‘Superboys of Malegaon’, a film by Reema Kagti and Varun Grover. Anuj Singh Duhan, Viineet Kumar Siingh and Shashank Arora were all prominent figures in the film.
Meanwhile, Adarsh, who was raised in a Telugu-speaking family, expressed joy in his ability to speak the language well. Although he is eager to learn more about the Telugu film business, he noted the disparities in regional cinema.
He said, “Every industry is different because culturally everybody is different. That definitely has an effect on it. It's strange, because I have never had Telugu friends growing up. It has been just a few days here, but there is such a sense of familiarity."
