The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction is scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking its second consecutive year abroad following last year's event in Dubai. This year, 1,574 players have registered, although the final roster will be refined after discussions with franchises.

Each team has a spending cap of INR 120 crore, with several already allocating portions of this budget for player retention. Teams are required to have between 18 to 25 players, resulting in a maximum of 250 players across the 10 teams.

With 46 players retained ahead of IPL 2025 auction, 204 slots remain open. Among these, 70 slots are designated for international players, as each team can have up to eight overseas players.
