If Pant happens to scale the milestone, he will be the fourth player from Delhi Capitals franchise to have achieved the feat. Shikhar Dhawan, Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane have scored 2000 runs or more for DC (formerly Delhi Daredevils) in Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard needs just 27 runs to attain the 3000-run mark in IPL. The explosive Windies batsman has scored 2973 runs for MI in the Indian Premier League. If Pollard reached the milestone during the game against DC, he shall be only the second player for his franchise after Rohit Sharma to have attained the landmark. Kieron Pollard is also nearing another batting milestone as the Barbadian power hitter needs 6 more maximums to enter the 200-six club in the IPL. Pollard will join his Windies team mate Chris Gayle, AB De Villiers, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma in elite six hitting-club. Spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya needs 14 runs to register 1000 T20 runs for Mumbai Indians. The elder of the Pandya brothers has scored 986 runs for MI in his IPL career.
