The second T20I between India women and South Africa Women at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium was abandoned due to rain on Thursday. The toss could not happen due to continuous drizzling. There was an inspection at 8 pm after which the match officials decided to call off the game. The match got abandoned without a ball being bowled. The washout game means that India go into the third of the five games with their 1-0 lead intact. Earlier in the first T20I, the Indian eves registered a stunning 11-run victory over South Africa at the same venue.
