India Announce Squads For England T20Is, One-Off Tests Against Three Lions, Australia
Test cricket will feature in India's women's home season for the first time since 2014.
India have officially announced the women's squads for the upcoming T20Is against England and the subsequent one-off Tests against England and Australia. The cricketing assignent marks the commencement of the much-anticipated home season. The action-packed season kicks off with a riveting three-match T20I series against England, slated to take place at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 6 to 10. The clash between the two formidable teams promises to be an exhilarating spectacle for cricket enthusiasts.
Following the T20Is, the focus will shift to the longer format, with a one-off Test against England scheduled from December 14 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Notably, Test cricket will feature in India's women's home season for the first time since 2014. The team has only played two Tests since then, both on foreign soil against England and Australia in 2021, with commendable performances resulting in honors shared.
