On Friday, India crushed the hosts, winning the first Test of the two-match IND vs WI Test series by an innings and 141 runs. The win gave the visitors a 1-0 lead. Meanwhile, skipper Rohit was spotted relaxing by a lake ahead of IND vs WI 2nd Test. On Day 3 of IND vs WI 1st Test, India defeated West Indies by an innings and 141 runs, courtesy of "records-shattering" partnership between Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal. While Rohit played a captain's knock of 103 runs, Jaiswal notched up a scorching 171 in his debut Test. The overall 12 wicket haul of Ravichandran Ashwin ruptured the hopes of win for West Indies and put India in a 1-0 lead.

The Final Test of the two-match IND vs WI Test match series will commence from 20th July onwards at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, and the visitors seem to be in a very strong form, all set for a whitewash.

Team India currently sits at the top of ICC Test Team Rankings with a rating of 121 followed by Australia at number two with 116 points. India will look forward to seal the test match series with a 2-0 win and stay on the top spot in the team rankings.
