'Rahul Not Able To Score In Modi Stadium': KL Rahul Gets Roasted For Poor Form In T20s

KL Rahul has looked out of ideas in the India-England T20I series. Twitteratis have found an interesting way to troll the 28-year old batsman.

India vs England 3rd T20 belonged to the visiting team. India displayed a poor show in batting. Except for Virat Kohli’s 77 and Hardik Pandya’s cameo, none other batsman rose to the occasion. KL Rahul’s form is a cause of concern for Virat Kohli and company. His scores in the three innings were 1, 0 and 0. The Karnataka batsman failed to even score more than one run.

Social media fans and especially the ones on Twitter are ruthless when it come s to trolling a cricketer after a bad performance. They have found a way to roast India’s opening batsman. All the matches are being conducted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This new stadium has proven to be unlucky so far for KL Rahul.

Twitteratis are saying that Rahul won’t be able to score at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Look at the tweets yourself to understand why:

KL Rahul’s dismal show has prompted fans to draw analogies between him and a certain Indian politician. The jokes won’t end but the fact of the matter is that KL Rahul has scored just 1 run in three matches played so far in the series.

It would be surprising to see Rahul given a chance again in the series as there are other players in the team who could open the innings for India. Although Kohli has supported his batsman. In the post-match presentation, Kohli said:  “He has been a champion player. If you look at his stats in the lat 2-3 years, they are probably better than anyone in T20. He will continue to be one of our main batters along with Rohit at the top of the order.”

The 4th T20I is going to take place on 18 March 2021 at 7 pm, IST.
