Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hailed the Indian Men's Cricket team during a public address in Telangana on Sunday. She said that the 'Men In Blue' are creating records in bowling and batting. She added that it is a symbol of our unity that players from different castes, religions, states and languages stand together as one team. She wished the Men's team luck just minutes ahead of the ICC Men's World Cup Finals.

Gandhi during her address said, "Today is the final of the Cricket World Cup. Our team is creating records in bowling and batting. It is a symbol of our unity...Best wishes to Team India."

Cricket fans from across the nation have shown up to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat's Ahmedabad to see the Indian team lifting the World Cup Trophy once again after 2011.
