Virat, Jadeja, Shami Likely To Miss IND vs ENG 3rd Test; Check India's Probable Squad For Rajkot Test

India's Probable Squad IND v ENG 3rd Test: Ahead of BCCI's squad announcement for remaining three IND vs ENG Tests, let's have a look at players who are likely to miss IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot.

India predicted squad for IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot: India and England cricket teams are presently engaged in a five-match IND vs ENG Test series. The first two tests have already been contested, with England claiming victory in the Hyderabad Test. In reply, hosts India bounced back with a spirited performance, securing a resounding 106-run win in the second Test in Visakhapatnam.

The upcoming IND vs ENG 3rd Test is scheduled in Rajkot, starting from February 15th onwards. It is expected that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may announce India's lineup for the remaining three IND vs ENG Tests, today.

Ahead of BCCI's squad announcement for the remaining three IND vs ENG Tests, let's have a look at key players who are likely to miss IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot.

Virat Kohli: Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli was absent from the initial two matches of the five-Test series against England, reportedly due to family reasons. Virat's close friend and former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate, AB de Villiers, revealed that Kohli's wife, Anushka Sharma, is expecting a child, casting doubt on Kohli's return to the IND vs ENG Test Series anytime soon.

Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami: Multiple reports indicate that injuries will sideline senior players Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja for not just the 3rd Test but the remainder of IND vs ENG Test Series. Their absence is undoubtedly going to impact India, as both Shami and Jadeja are key contributors to the team's success in red-ball format.

Jasprit Bumrah: Given the importance of workload management and considering team India's extensive schedule, selectors may opt to rest premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah for the upcoming IND vs ENG Test in Rajkot.

In what comes as a big boost for the hosts, star keeper-batter KL Rahul, who missed 2nd Test after sustaining injury in the series opener in Hyderabad, might get fit in time for IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot, starting on February 14th onwards. If Rahul recovers in time, his inclusion in the playing 11 seems certain. His return would undoubtedly add pressure on Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, potentially reshaping the team's lineup and dynamics.

India's Predicted Squad For IND vs ENG Rajkot Test: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Rajat Patidar, Srikar Bharat (wk), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar, Sarfaraz Khan, Mohammed Siraj, Saurabh Kumar, KL Rahul.
