The Indian pacers delivered a spectacular performance, dismissing Sri Lanka for just 55 runs in their pursuit of the 358-run target.

"Very happy knowing that we have officially qualified now. Been a good effort from the squad, when we started off in Chennai. This was our goal, to qualify first and then obviously to be in the semis and the finals. The way we approached these 7 games, it was quite clinical. Everyone put in the effort and a lot of individuals have put their hand up," said Rohit Sharma after India's thumping win over Sri Lanka in ODI World Cup 2023 fixture.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 round-robin group stage has entered its final week. So far, only two teams, India and South Africa, have qualified for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semifinal. The two semifinal matches of ODI World Cup 2023 will be played on November 15 and 16. India will play semifinal 1 on November 15 in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium against the fourth-placed team in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Points Table at the end of league stage.
