Ind vs WI: Twitter lashes out at KL Rahul for scoring a duck and wasting review
With the likes of Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan axed from playing XI, it was a great opportunity for the young blood to make their mark. However, it was only Shaw who made an impact, by becoming the 27th Indian batsman to score half-century in the debut Test debut innings
Twitter lashed out at the ordinary judgment skills of the Indian star batsman KL Rahul, after he got dismissed for a duck and decided to go for a review which turned out to be a rather totally wasted one. Balling with a decent pace on a subcontinent pitch, Shannon Gabriel, who is one of the main strike bowlers for the West Indian squad got Rahul out in the final delivery of his over.

Birth
Get out to inswinging delivery
Waste a review
Death
KL Rahul invariably wastes a review everytime he's been given out LBW early on in his innings! He needs to accept the fact he's plumb in front and get out of there!! #INDvWI

As the bowl seamed back in sharply from outside off, at a pace of143.5kph, the right-handed batsman was struck right in front of the middle stump.

With the likes of Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan axed from playing XI, it was a great opportunity for the young blood to make their mark. However, it was only Shaw who made an impact, by becoming the 27th Indian batsman to score half-century in the debut Test debut innings. He did this by accumulating a fantastic half-century in the opening session of the first day of the first Test against West Indies in Rajkot.
