With the bat, debutant Tilak Varma showed why he is such a high-rated young cricketer during his 39 off 22 but it wasn't enough to get India over the line.
The second match could be a better scoring surface if weather allows proper action between bat and ball that is. Rain could play a part and thus the team that wins the toss might look to chase with the chances of DLS getting into play.
